Our wedding day was chilly but it was the best day & couldnt have been more perfect! All our guests enjoyed the day and dressed in tuxedos and gorgeous gowns. The whole day seems almost like a blur because it went by so fast but I would do it again in a heart beat! Looking back at our wedding photos makes me wish the day didnt have to end. From the beginning to end, the day was everything we could have imagined. The food was sooo amazing and even though taking photos was a cold experience, I love how they all turned out & our photographer was wonderful and made it so fun. My husband and I are celebrating our 1 year anniversary soon & I am so thankful for how great our first year has been and for everyone who was involved in our big day!
In February 2011 my good friend from university and I were headed to Cancun, Mexico for a care free spring break get away. We were so excited to escape from our long, cold, Canadian winter and bask in the sun and see all Cancun had to offer...little did I know I was about to meet someone who would become my husband. After about two days of settling into our resort and sight seeing we met a group of guys at our hotel who went by Monks, Carl, Knapps, and Jon. They were a super fun and out going group of guys from some place we had never heard of, called Chalk River, but we all hit it off well and hung out together all week. After a full week of sun and ocean fun Jon and I exchanged numbers and made sure we would keep in contact when we got back to Canada. About a month later Jon came to Toronto to watch a Supercross show, and I had taken my first trip to Chalk River, and so began our two and a half year long distance relationship. After many drives back and forth and many new experiences for the both of us, I finally finished my degree and made the move to Chalk River. We got married on Sept 2, 2017 in Mississauga and it was the most perfect day. Ryan and I were dating for 8 years until he built up the courage to face his fear of flying and proposed to me after our flight with iflygta Toronto. I found my dress by the help of Dimitra at Amanda Linas. I wore a Maggie Sottero dress as soon as I tried it on I fell in love. We got married at St. Marguerite d'youville Church in Brampton. The reception was held at Renaissance by the creek in Mississauga. My Beach theme wedding was a hit and the only thing missing was the Ocean. For our honeymoon we were reunited with the Ocean in the Bahamas. Thank you Amanda Linas and Dimitra for making my wedding a dream come true. Michelle Medeiros
