Picking the perfect wedding gown is, of course, of the utmost importance for every bride out there. However, you should definitely not leave your accessories for the last moment either – and your shoes are among the most important ones. How to make sure you choose the ideal pair of shoes for your Big Day? Here are some tips to help you out:

• Pick the dress first, the shoes afterwards. In general, brides purchase their wedding shoes only when they are 100% certain on a particular dress. However, make sure you buy your shoes before the last fitting because you will need to bring them with you. This way, your seamstress will know exactly how to adjust the length of your dress according to the shoes you plan on wearing.
• Comfort, comfort, comfort! We know stilettoes look wonderful, but your wedding day will be an emotional rollercoaster as it is – so there’s definitely no need to add physical pain to it. Choose a pair of shoes you can actually walk (and dance!) in and you will not regret your decision. If you absolutely must wear very high heels, do it only for the ceremony and change into something more comfortable for the reception. In this case, keep in mind that you will have to bring both pairs of shoes for the last fitting as well.
• They don’t have to be white. Of course, traditionally, the wedding shoes come in the same color as the wedding dress (white). However, these days anything goes. Your shoes can be anything from red to glittery black and, if you want to, you can even pair them to your bouquet or to your bridesmaids’ dresses. Also, you can personalize them almost any way you want as well (from having them painted in a very specific color to having them personalized with your name or your fiancé’s).
Amanda Lina’s Sposa Boutique holds an impressive collection of wedding gowns you can choose from. We have brought in some of the world’s most famous designers – so each of the gowns we sell in our boutique is crafted with the highest attention to detail and in the most enchanting ways too. Choosing your wedding gown is, of course, a very important step. But so is choosing your bridesmaids’ dresses too. Regardless of whether you want them to dress the same or if you simply want to keep their attires “tied” by a common feature (color, for example), you should definitely pay attention to how you select their dresses. After all, they are your friends and you will want them to look great for your wedding day too!

Since spring is right around the corner, we thought of putting together a list of tips to help you decide on the perfect bridesmaids’ dresses for the season – so make sure to read on and find out more.
• Fabric. Keep in mind that early spring days (and evenings) can get quite chilly – and you will not want your bridesmaids to feel cold because they are not dressed according to the weather outside. Choose a fabric that is lighter than those used for winter dresses, but still enough to keep your friends warm. Silk is a very elegant choice – but these days, even jersey and cotton can look absolutely marvelous if you choose the right dress design for them!
• Length. If you want to keep your wedding very formal, long dresses are your best option. However, if you want your wedding to be a bit more casual/informal, you can go for a shorter dress design. A knee-length dress can be extremely elegant, feminine and, if chosen the right way, it can be worn on other occasions as well. Your bridesmaids would definitely love the idea!
• Colors. This year’s wedding trends have brought some amazing surprises on our color charts – and they have also pushed some much-expected comebacks as well. Marsala, strawberry ice, turquoise and Lucite green are among our favorites – and they would be amazing for your bridesmaids’ dresses too!
If you are searching for beautiful bridesmaids’ dresses to suit every wedding style, make sure to stop by Amanda Lina’s Sposa Boutique. Our collection will surely impress you!

Like every bride in the world, you want everything about your dress to be flawless. In most of the cases, this means that you will have to attend at least one or two wedding gown fittings. What should you bring with you to your wedding dress fitting appointment though? Read on and find out more about this.

• The shoes. Don’t forget to bring the same pair of shoes you plan on wearing on the Big Day. If you haven’t already purchased it, bring something that has the same height as what you plan on wearing. Also, if you plan on wearing multiple pairs of shoes (high heels for the ceremony and flats for the reception, for example), make sure you bring both of them with you.
• Good undergarments. Bring the undergarments you want to wear on your wedding day because it will be crucial. To make sure everything fits perfectly (and to make sure you don’t have to go through another series of alterations), ask your boutique if they are selling bridal undergarments too. Many of them do this (and this includes Amanda Lina’s as well) and it will be much more convenient for you to buy yours from the same place you buy your dress.
• Your veil and accessories. If you have already decided on your veil and accessories, bring them to your wedding dress fitting appointment. This way, you will be able to see exactly how everything looks when “pieced” together and you will be able to make adjustments if needed. Keep in mind that, same as with the undergarments (and for the same reasons), it is advisable that you purchase your veil from the same boutique from which you purchase your gown as well.
• Open-mindedness. We know you probably have tons of ideas about how you would like your wedding gown to look, but be open-minded to the suggestions the bridal boutique consultant will offer too. Try on as many designs as you need to and make sure you settle for that which truly flatters your beautiful body.
